Photobook Show is a Brighton-based arts organisation, set up in 2011 by William Sadowski and Kevin
Beck to raise the profile of artist-led photobooks, with particular focus on self-published or hand-
crafted works. It aims to hold several exhibitions a year, alongside talks and workshops, to promote
the visibility of photobooks.

Photobook Show has established a free library of photobooks for public perusal at Workflow Studio
in Brighton alongside its bookmaking facilities.

Gordon, Hannah and Elin from BPF will be on hand for questions and conversations about anything
and everything BPF. We'd love to meet you!

These free Meets are for anyone interested in photography and lens-based media or just wanting to
know more and meet lovely people. Photo-socialising, ideas exchange, talks, peer support and much
more. Let's meet there!

April Monthly Meet

This month drop by for a drink, talk photography, landscape, and project progression with Interlope, a newly formed art collective who exhibited their work "Along the Lines of..." during BPF2012.

Upstairs at Fitzherberts
Tuesday 16th April
6:30pm - 8:00pm

Based in the South East, Interlope consists of Ali Farmer, Fleur Alston, Jane Sellman and Elin Karlsson. For the 2012 Brighton Photo Fringe they walked from the Lucy Bell Gallery in St Leonard's on Sea to Brighton for the exhibition "Along the Lines of..."

"We had one show in St Leonard's and one in Brighton and wanted to walk in between the two venues to symbolize the journey ahead of us as artists as we had just left university." Along the way they made new work inspired by the cultural heritage of the South Coast.

Since the festival Interlope has been invited to take "Along the Lines of..." across the channel to an arts festival in Dieppe, France (www.diepfestival.wordpress.com). For this stage they are taking the project further developing ideas for a book. "We are testing ourselves as a collective, working with the curation of the photograph and new ways of making work through interaction with the landscape."
