Brighton Photo Fringe
2 October-14 November 2010

Brighton Photo Fringe supports photographers and lens-based artists by opening up spaces, coordinating participatory projects and creating opportunities.

Every two years Brighton Photo Fringe brings together a city-wide festival of exhibitions and events that runs alongside Brighton Photo Biennial. In 2008 Brighton Photo Fringe included 82 exhibitions, featured works by over 300 artists and had an audience of 45,000-50,000.

For 2010, Brighton Photo Fringe will coincide with Brighton Photo Biennial: New Documents, curated by the internationally recognised photographer, editor and curator Martin Parr. Brighton Photo Fringe works in partnership with Brighton Photo Biennial, collaborating on various projects and creating joint platforms, including the keynote open submission exhibition and portfolio reviews.

Brighton Photo Fringe is open to anyone who wants to take part - all you have to do is organise an exhibition or event and register for the Brighton Photo Fringe brochure and map.
